Mom's bowlMy bowl.
I also made some Sweet & Sour drink mixer from scratch to make margaritas, but I rummaged through the liquor cabinet and didn't find any tequila, but I found the Whiskey so I made myself a whiskey sour! I feel warm and cozy. I'm gonna put my p.j.'s on and cozy up on the couch. :) It's about to get CHILLY here, 45 tonight, 35 tomorrow night...

I added some rotel, and a small chopped onion.... de-lish! And with the sour cream and cilantro, over the top. If only the sour cream would have been crema casera, mmmmmm! Necicito voy ala mercado.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd give for a bowl of that right now. It looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteLunchtime here....hmmm, what to have.....
Looks great! We have 80 degrees inside the boat and 77 outside the boat at 8:50 pm. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteNICE!!! Perfect evening cocktails on the aft deck weather.
ReplyDeleteOh your dinner looks devine! I had steak tacos tonight but your taco soup I'd trade for! It's super cold here! It was in the lower 30's last night, Ahh love the Northwest Winter! Here it comes! I'm gonna print out that soup recipe and give it a try! mmm mmm :-)
ReplyDeleteOH girl! I am not upset about NOT spending the winter up there... I does get really really cold here though, trying to head south but it's proving to be a challenge!!! In addition to the recipe I added some cornstarch to thicken it up a bit and I had to add some salt too. And more cheese... I love cheese.
ReplyDeleteSeattle Heather, the soup was good the way Jolea made it but if you like a little more spice, dump in a can of rotel, the chopped tomato kind and a small finely chopped onion while you are cooking it, and I wouldn't even drain the beans or corn... maybe the pintos, cuz those are kind of funky looking in the juice. She did good... and the whiskey sour was pretty tasty too.
ReplyDeletedang that looks good
