I dated a guy...

In St. Thomas. And he was really cool. But, I was torn between him...
he is an underwater welder

and the hippey boy I chose over him...

a lot of good that did me...

Lesson: Always go for the Alpha male.

True, the hippey was sweet, but he didn't have the balls to tell me when he was leaving or coming back for that matter... but there ya have it. Karma. Hope I have that all worked out now....

You see, I have nothing better to talk about right now than this because I am jobless.

  1. I think it's great you are talking about this stuff.
Hippy boys are usually lightweights and too into themselves; kind of the anti-thesis of being a 'hippy'.
In my experience, I have found blokes who don't have any 'labels' they feel the need to apply to themselves, to be the most interesting and decent.

  2. For example, sailors.
The guys who don't brag about their miles and their experience, are the nicest. Those who brag are dull and most likely have small willies.

  3. if i would have taken the time to open my eyes I would have seen that the Welder was genuinely interested in me as in, inviting me over for dinner and asking me out, but i went for the one who was basically homeless and broke all the time. hindsight is 20/20.

  4. p.s The top guy looks hot and kind. The hippy looks like a self-centered dick.

  10. Folks tell me not to worry about being a spinster on the sea, but hey, if I wasn't picky, it would be okay, but I am picky and I am not into the usual braggers, or the he-men with bad manners, or the guys who prey on women who they think are 'vulnerable'. Fuck that.
I know what I want and there aren't many out there. Sigh.
Fingers crossed the man I love, and he sure does love me, will last and last and last. We're doing pretty well, all things considered, what with the distance and getting to know each other, slowly but surely and absolutely definately, globally. I do hope he makes it here this Xmas.
    Swoon.

  11. You mum is so cool and I am sure she would understand your posts on your trysts. We are human, and love plays the most important part in our lives, especially when we are young: Nobody can deny that in anybody and nobody wants to. It is what makes up. Our forays into relationships, be they successful or not, make us, define us and teach us heaps.

  12. I love that M, I am not one for settling either, and i am picky too. I don't want you to worry bout a thing... every little ting, gonna be alright....

:) There's nothing wrong with trying on ugly pairs of jeans if you can look in the mirror and see that they are hideous and take them off...

  13. i got ya, and about the "vulnerable" thing...

motherfuckers better believe I carry a knife and know right where to stick it, and if I happen to let my knife get out of reach, i have a great set of Nashers.

i'd like to get ahold of the fuckers who dare to put a hand on my friends or family. they would be praying for a quick death.

no time for losers, cuz we are the champions.

  15. Also, being a welder is a great, skilled job.
Being a hippy is a sign of laziness and resting on your 'looks'. Duh. The Italian was a wanchor like that. Still is. Lives off family money. Made nothing for himself. Thinks he's hot. But I know he has a small willy and has no idea how to do oral sex.
God, he was boring in bed.
    Ask lyvvie.
    hahahahhahahahahah.
    That's a story.

  16. OHHHH WOOOOOOOOW WOW. WOW, HAHAHHA! You are so right and you have no idea. Everything happens for a reason... I know that. I have to keep saying that because other wise none of this would make any sense...

  25. I'm fine with anything you post as long as that baby isn't yours.... guys who work with their hands usually have more feelings toward others and things than guys who don't work at all.

  26. Its a pity that we often find the hipppy types more interesting - free spirit whatever, but Maria is right in all she said...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Most of the hippies I have met are losers who are about to have to go back to work. They are only 'hippies' whilst on vacation and rarely manage to become true free spirits, unless supported by Italian mothers, cos they don't have it in them to properly plan a move to true freedom.

I tell ya, it's not about the looks or trying to be a cool hippy. What it's about is the actual goods and how committed people really are to what they say they are, and how far they get trying to live, what seem to us, to be idealised lifestyles.
It comes down to happiness in the end. You don't have to be a hippy or a 'free spirit' to be happy.
It's the little things each day that can make each day wonderful.

  28. I feel bad for ragging on hippies; it's just that a lot of them can be all talk and no action.

    ReplyDelete
  29. nah, he was totally selfish and a bum. you are right. never met a hippy that wasn't a bum. lol!
