Ok, 50 minutes.

So, it took 50 minutes to cook the squash, then you scoop it out of the skin, make sure you get all the goodness.

Put it in a food processor, add some cinnimon, and honey, a dollop of butter and a little salt.

Puree it up!
Put it in a little oven save dish...

I am going to top it with some brown sugar and bake it tonight as a side dish for dinner. I will probably bake it at 375 for about 10 mins just to melt the brown sugar and heat it through.

TA DA!

  4. It was gross according to mom. I had some and thought it was good. But I don't really know how it's supposed to taste. It had a good flavor... it might have been too mushy. But then again it was called "Butternut Squash Mush" gee...

  5. It didn't have enough of the seasoning ingredients such as brown sugar and cinnamon. It was a little bland.

  6. And here I was thinking your Mom was fielding all the yacht calls and telling them you already found a job, so she could keep you there to cook for her.
    Maybe not.

  8. No, we don't mind you whining as long as you do it outside. You can make up for this mush by cooking BBQ today. Shredded Beef.
